About the Role

Findex is seeking a highly motivated Marketing Events Coordinator to join our dynamic Marketing team, reporting to the Marketing Project Manager. This is an initial full-time, 9-month contract, based in Australia, ideally in Sydney or Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end-to-end event planning under the guidance of the Marketing Projects Manager, ensuring all deadlines and deliverables are met, inclusive of online event experiences (webinars).
  • Travel to regional, metropolitan and in some cases international (Australia or New Zealand) locations when required to service an existing client base and prospective clients, including assuming on-site event management and facilitating marketing driven activity.
  • Analyse post-event data and metrics to assess effectiveness and make recommendations for future improvements, emphasising a data-driven approach to event management.
  • Plan, organise, and execute events within budget that align with organisational objectives and deliver measurable ROI.
  • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential campaign and event risks effectively.

Stakeholder Management

  • Liaise and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including third parties/suppliers to plan, organise, and execute events that align with strategic objectives.
  • Provide support to the Marketing team in areas related to events, sponsorships, and community development.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Marketing or a relevant discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing event coordination.
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry and advanced analytical skills.
  • Experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Event Brite, Go To Webinar or similar marketing platforms preferred.
