Job Opportunity

We are seeking a finance professional to manage financial reporting, contracts, and cost control within our expanding business. The successful candidate will be involved in shaping strategic decisions, streamlining systems, and driving financial results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and improve financial reporting systems. Deliver monthly project and company cashflow forecasts and cost-to-complete reports.
  • Prepare end-of-project profitability reports, contribute to financial lessons learned, and assist in the preparation of EOFY financial statements.
  • Implement procedures for bonuses. Collaborate with operations and project leads to ensure accurate cost allocation.
  • Participate in senior management meetings, providing relevant financial insights.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings across the business.
  • Lead cost management reporting to aid decision-making at project and company levels.
  • Review budgets for bids prior to submission, highlighting risks or discrepancies.
  • Input budgets into software and communicate with the construction team.
  • Support strategies to maximize returns across teams and equipment.
  • Assist in securing funding for capital acquisitions.
  • Oversee progress claims, invoice schedules, and client retentions.

Commercial Oversight

  • Assist operations in documenting and reviewing variations, and support commercial negotiations.
  • Ensure compliance with project commercial deliverables.
  • Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Develop and improve company commercial systems and processes.
