Job Overview

As a Group Manager, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and mentoring a team of engineers to deliver complex projects.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in project delivery, design documentation, and cost management.

You will oversee the creation of design and documentation for mechanical services, work closely with clients, contractors, and sub-contractors, and be responsible for project costings and budgeting.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to take the lead on innovative electrification projects in the region.

We are seeking someone who wants to take control of their career and can successfully operate in a highly autonomous environment.

  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of engineers.
  • Experience in preparing detailed mechanical services design documentation for commercial, office, residential, and healthcare sectors.
  • Previous experience with electrification of Mechanical Services is desirable.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and the National Construction Code.
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) is highly preferable.
  • Fundamental knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other tools.

Project delivery of mechanical services projects.

Overseeing design and documentation for Mechanical services.

Mentoring junior colleagues.

Working closely with clients and contractors.

Managing project costs and budgeting.

Leading innovative electrification projects.
