About the Role

As a senior engineer and team leader, you will be responsible for managing our devops teams in EMEA, APAC, and the Americas. Your primary goal is to oversee daily agile devops practices, represent your team to stakeholders, customers, and internal teams, and organize, coordinate, and drive internal projects.

  • Develop and implement structured engineering and operations processes.
  • Mentor engineers to improve their skills and enhance team performance.
  • Identify and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) that contribute to team health.
  • Ensure proper team focus on priorities, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet service level agreements (SLAs).

You will lead a fully distributed home-based team across three continents. You will report directly to a global director who may not be in your time zone.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you must have:

  • A proven track record of driving results-oriented initiatives.
  • Experience with software delivery using infrastructure as code.
  • Proven experience managing devops teams for SaaS offerings.
  • An understanding of testing methodologies and maintainable code quality.
  • Technical aptitude for understanding complex distributed systems.
  • Experience with cloud topologies and technologies.
