Aviation Security Officer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Aviation Security Officer at Alice Springs Airport. This role is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of travellers and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct screening activities in a fast-paced airport environment
  • Ensure compliance with security procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Create a safe and memorable travel experience for passengers and visitors
Requirements:
  • Ability to complete a Transport Security Protection Course
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and no prior security experience required
  • Pass a drug and alcohol screening and medical assessment
  • Able to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
  • Availability to work on a 24/7 rotating roster
  • Physical ability to perform all security and emergency procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing team environment
