Job Title: Crypto Asset Investigator

We are seeking an experienced investigator to join our team in identifying illicit activity in the crypto and digital asset space.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of blockchain technology and experience investigating fraud, misappropriation, and corruption related to cryptocurrencies.

  • Investigate suspicious transactions and account activities to identify potential illicit use of crypto assets.
  • Analyse customer data, on-chain and off-chain transactions, and other open-source information to assess the nature of the activity.
  • Provide technical advice and support to enforcement teams.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience using blockchain analytics tools to investigate crypto-related misconduct.
  • Knowledge of blockchain architecture and digital asset technologies.
  • Strong analytical and research skills to interpret large datasets.
  • Excellent communication skills to present complex findings clearly.
  • A proactive interest in emerging trends in blockchain-enabled cybercrime.
  • Qualifications in IT, Data Analytics, or a related field (e.g. Chainalysis Reactor or TRM Labs certification).
