Job Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Leader to lead risk strategy within the Corporate Assurance Branch. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring programs, projects and priorities are delivered effectively and efficiently.

Main Responsibilities

  • Leverage experience in risk management and engagement to support strategic decision making at all levels.
  • Work closely with senior executives to identify how risk can be used to drive innovation, deliver meaningful change, and promote better health outcomes for all Australians.
  • Support risk management practices across the organisation to assure delivery of strategic priorities and outcomes.
  • Develop key artefacts to ensure active engagement in risk management across the organisation.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance of internal risk documentation with relevant legislation.
  • Identify areas for further improvement in how risk is managed, communicated and engaged with across the organisation.
  • Lead a small team to support broader capability uplift.
