Sophisticated Software Developer

The role requires a seasoned professional to drive the development of design documents for various products, applications, and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to determine user requirements and develop comprehensive design documents.
  • Create, implement, optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code to ensure performance, maintainability, effectiveness, and return on investment.
  • Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI), guiding other engineers by developing and following best practices, monitoring systems for issues, alerting stakeholders, and initiating actions to restore services as needed.
  • Proactively seek new knowledge and adapt to new trends, technical solutions, and patterns to improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline AND 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications / Ideal candidate:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field AND 8+ years of experience in technical engineering with relevant coding skills.
    • Or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field AND 6+ years of relevant experience.
    • Background in operating systems like Linux or FreeBSD, with experience in hardware and network development.
    • Ability to work cross-team, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
    • Excellent design, coding, and problem-solving skills.
