Job Title: Rural Labourer

This role is a Labourer position in a rural setting. The successful applicant will perform general duties as directed by the works coordinator and in accordance with work instructions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • laying pipes and stormwater infrastructure
  • maintaining/operating plant and equipment
  • producing concrete structures such as footpaths, drives, and retaining walls
  • controlling traffic including set-up procedures per traffic control plans, maintaining traffic flow and reporting traffic problems
  • performing roadworks including set-up, construction, and maintenance of roads
  • acting in higher grade roles throughout the rural works team
About You:
  • a Class C Driver's Licence is required
  • prior labouring experience is essential
  • a WHS Induction for Construction Work (Whitecard) is mandatory
  • Traffic Control Tickets (Stop/Slow and Apply Traffic Control Plans) are required
  • demonstrated commitment to the principles of honesty and integrity
  • demonstrated commitment to and understanding of WHS
