Job Description

This is a full-time opportunity working Monday to Friday to service clients in Lake Macquarie East. As a Registered Nurse, you will work independently to make a difference to those living in regional, rural and remote Australia whilst being supported by the Health Services Team.

You will provide health promotion and health education to clients and carers, promoting and delivering our award-winning Wellness for Independence programs in person and virtually. You will also monitor and promote health outcomes via Telehealth and provide direct care services across a range of different funding programs.

Role Responsibilities

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • An understanding of community nursing and the principles of primary health care including providing services in a consumer directed care framework
  • Community, acute and aged care experience of 1 or more years
  • Experience working as an independent clinical practitioner or in a team
