About the Role

As a Senior Advisor, you'll lead media and external affairs initiatives that enhance and protect an organization's reputation.

You'll craft compelling communication materials, manage relations, and support strategic messaging across the organisation.

You'll work in a collaborative, high-performing team that values integrity and impact.

The role offers exposure to innovative projects that make a real difference to people.

  • Develop high-quality statements, speeches, talking points, and key messages.
  • Respond promptly to enquiries, coordinating with internal stakeholders.
  • Advise senior leaders on matters affecting customers, stakeholders, and brand.
  • Support communication during operational incidents and organisational issues.
  • Translate complex information into clear, engaging messages for diverse audiences.
  • Identify and coordinate proactive opportunities, including liaison.
  • Maintain records, compile reports, and distribute summaries.
Key Skills and Experience:
  • Tertiary qualification in journalism, public relations, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in media liaison, including generating coverage and managing enquiries.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for simplifying topics.
  • Strategic insight and a strong sense for newsworthy stories.
  • Experience in incident or crisis communication.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
