Job Title: Senior Business Intelligence Specialist

Job Description

The establishment of formal data management and data governance functions in accordance with industry best practices is a key aspect of maturing an organisation's wide data capability, with a specific focus on the business intelligence function. The Business Intelligence team requires a review and enhancement of documentation governing the approach and plans for management of the data created, stored and curated by the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review existing governance arrangements
  • Establish oversight structures and a data governance framework
  • Develop policies and procedures for data management to support the framework
  • Identify opportunities and risks and recommend actions to manage and mitigate
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have demonstrated experience in providing similar services, including the identification of any key challenges and principles. A strong understanding of industry best practices (e.g. DAMA DMBOK) and the ability to establish a sustainable and fit-for-purpose Data Governance approach are essential.
