  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and draft standards, guidelines, policies, and reports.
  • Prepare submissions, briefing papers, agendas, and minutes.
  • Support consultation processes by gathering and collating feedback.
  • Monitor changes in surgical practice, health policy, and professional standards.
  • Coordinate projects to meet agreed timelines and reporting needs.
About You
  • A qualification in public policy, law, political science, or a related field is essential for this role.
  • Experience in policy, research, or advisory work, particularly in health, education, or membership organizations, is highly valued.
  • Strong knowledge of standards development and governance processes is required.
  • Excellent research and writing skills are necessary for success in this position.
  • The ability to manage competing deadlines and maintain attention to detail is crucial.
  • Skills in organizing committee work and engaging with stakeholders are also essential.
