Payroll Data Analysis Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead payroll data analytics initiatives, leveraging technical expertise to drive wage compliance and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:- Payroll Remediation Projects: Lead the technical review of payroll projects, ensuring adherence to legal instructions and accurate entitlement calculations.
- Fringe Benefits Tax Data Modelling: Develop data models to determine applicable FBT amounts, utilizing robotic procedures (RPA) to enhance efficiency.
- Regulatory Authority Relationships: Maintain relationships with regulatory bodies, such as the Australian Taxation Office and Fair Work Ombudsman.
- Coding and Analytics Tools: Guide the team in coding, particularly in Alteryx, SQL, R, RPA, and data visualisation tools for FBT functions.
- Over 9 years of experience in payroll data analytics.
- Proven experience leading large, data-heavy engagements.
- Strong technical skills in Alteryx, SQL, R, RPA tools, and data visualisation.
- Demonstrated leadership within a Big Four accounting firm or equivalent.
- Excellent client communication and business development skills.
