We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Compliance & Data Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of payroll data across various systems.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in payroll compliance and data analysis, with a proven track record of identifying and resolving discrepancies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive meaningful change and improve payroll processes.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and apply relevant awards, enterprise agreements, and Fair Work legislation.
  • Analyse payroll data to identify compliance discrepancies and calculate remediation amounts.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal, and Analytics teams to validate findings and ensure accuracy.
  • Document methodologies and audit trails to support transparency and compliance.
  • Support the development of remediation strategies and payment plans.
  • Provide recommendations to improve payroll processes and prevent future compliance issues.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex compliance matters to non-technical stakeholders.
