Lead Mining Engineer Opportunity

SRK Perth's mining business is seeking a technically skilled and commercially savvy Senior Mining Engineer to provide technical leadership on mine planning, design and scheduling. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of proven open pit experience with relevant exposure to projects in the Australian mining industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership on mine planning, design and scheduling
  • Develop and implement efficient mining strategies to meet production targets
  • Lead small project teams and mentor junior staff members
  • Prepare and present technical reports and proposals
  • Utilize one or more mining software packages to optimize mining operations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Mining Engineer with over 7 years of open pit mining experience
  • Strong understanding of mining software packages and their applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficient in preparing and presenting technical reports and proposals
