Job Title: Employment Support Specialist At Aruma, we strive to create a world where every individual is treated with dignity and respect. Our mission is to promote inclusivity and diversity through various employment opportunities. We are seeking an Employment Support Specialist to build connections, relationships, and networking with key stakeholders in the community. This role involves showcasing and promoting supported employment opportunities, engaging with potential employees, and guiding them through the onboarding process. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with experience in recruitment and customer service, preferably in the disability sector. They must be confident in travelling independently, building client relationships, and showcasing opportunities for people living with disabilities. As an Employment Support Specialist, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders, ensuring successful employment pathways for supported employees and students. You will also have the opportunity to plan and participate in meetings with multiple stakeholders to identify business needs and opportunities for continuous improvement. **Key Responsibilities:**
  • Showcase and promote supported employment and School Leaver Employment Support (SLES) opportunities
  • Engage with the community to source opportunities for potential employees or students
  • Identify and engage potential supported employees and SLES participants, and guide them through the onboarding process
  • Collaborate with, and support internal stakeholders to ensure successful employment pathways for supported employees and students
  • Coordinate end-to-end documentation
  • Plan and participate in meetings with multiple stakeholders to identify businesses needs opportunities for continuous improvement
