Employment Engagement Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic individual to play a key role in building connections between job-ready clients and real employment opportunities.

About the Role

As an Employment Engagement Specialist, you will be responsible for understanding workforce needs of local employers and helping them find suitable talent while supporting job seekers to achieve meaningful, long-term employment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Connect job-ready clients with employers through various engagement methods
  • Stay across Labour Market Information (LMI) to identify trends and develop strategies to address workforce shortages
  • Provide advice to employers on available supports including training options, wage subsidies, and post-placement services
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A sharp eye on labour market trends and the ability to turn insights into smart strategies
  • Strong organizational and negotiation skills
  • The drive to work independently and exceed targets
  • Attention to detail and a strong focus on professionalism
  • Experience in Employment Services or Marketing (or both)
  • A solid understanding of recruitment practices and how to help people overcome barriers to employment
