Job Title: Employment Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as an Employment Support Specialist. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting participants in employment, identifying barriers to ongoing employment, and providing a solution-focused approach to assist them in maintaining employment.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a high level of motivation, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work unsupervised in demanding environments.

About the Role
  • Monitor and provide post placement support to participants in employment
  • Identify barriers to ongoing employment and develop strategies to overcome them
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure participants receive the necessary support
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in Employment Services or clearly demonstrated transferable skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to work unsupervised in challenging environments
  • Proven experience working in a high-performance driven environment
  • Demonstrable ability to build positive working relationships with key stakeholders
  • High degree of self-motivation
  • Strong engagement and relationship building skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel suites of programs
