We are seeking a skilled Services Engineer to lead the planning and coordination of services consultants and trades for a new project located in Maroochydore.

Job Details

This is an opportunity to contribute to complex construction projects across all sectors, including building and infrastructure.

  • Participate in design management to ensure that emerging documentation meets required specifications, cost budgets, and program requirements for construction and installation.
  • Coordinate building services engineering consultants and subcontractors as needed.
  • In conjunction with the Contracts Administrator, identify applicable cost savings and assist with product selection and problem-solving to achieve best value for money.
  • Review documentation for adequacy of design input.
  • Monitor the production of workshop drawings and as-built documents.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control, engineering, and safety requirements during construction and plant installation on site.
  • Participate in handover and commissioning of the project, including submission of final documentation, authority approvals, warranties, training, and guarantees.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar field.
  • Experience in coordinating Mechanical and/or Electrical design, construction, and installation activities on building projects.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, influence, and build relationships at all levels of the business environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning, listening, and decision-making skills.
