Job Title: Event Producer

Overview:

  • We are seeking a skilled and experienced Event Producer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional events, including internal and external stakeholders. This role requires a creative and detail-oriented individual with a passion for event management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the delivery of major event programs and ancillary events.
  • Manage all aspects of pre-production, production, and post-production requirements.
  • Source appropriate participants for events.
  • Ensure events reflect best practices in creativity, risk/safety, and community engagement.
  • Supervise staff, volunteers, and contractors at events.
  • Participate in post-event reviews and recommend improvements.
  • Develop new events for the program on a one-off or ongoing basis.
About the Person

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Degree in event management or equivalent industry experience.
  • Proven experience in event production for indoor and outdoor events.
  • Comprehensive understanding of legislative requirements for community events.
  • Experience in implementing risk management strategies for events.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple major community events simultaneously.
