Transport Customer Service Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Transport Customer Service Officer, providing timely and effective support to our customers and partners.

  • Support daily transport operations by influencing key relationships with carrier partners and managing exceptions for customers.
  • Respond promptly to customer requests and queries via various mediums in a timely manner.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to internal stakeholders, carrier partners, and customers.
  • Resolve customer issues by working between vendors and transport providers to ensure timely resolution of exceptions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Foster strong relationships with carrier partners and manage day-to-day transport operations.
  • Provide efficient customer service support through various channels.
  • Work independently to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues using relevant systems and applications.
Requirements
  • Experience in a customer-facing role where understanding of transport processes was crucial for effective problem resolution.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, coupled with effective time management.
  • Intermediate Excel or Google Sheets skills are essential.
