Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Hydrology & Drainage Engineer to lead hydrology and drainage solutions for major infrastructure projects across Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the planning, design, and delivery of hydrology and drainage solutions for major transport infrastructure projects.

This includes overseeing flood risk assessments, catchment analysis, and stormwater management strategies in accordance with Australian Standards and Austroads guidelines.

The role also involves managing the development of concept and detailed designs for road and rail infrastructure, ensuring integration with surface and subsurface drainage systems, culverts, waterways, and flood protection infrastructure.

Additionally, the successful candidate will provide technical leadership and mentoring to multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring high-quality, sustainable, and innovative design outcomes.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in hydrology, drainage, and water management for major infrastructure projects in Australia.
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, Austroads guidelines, and relevant local authority requirements.
