Key Position: Retail Manager

Job Description:

This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a retail shopping centre asset. The successful candidate will be accountable for controlling operating costs efficiently, preparing income and expenditure budgets, operational reports, sales and marketing reports, and leasing reports.

Additionally, this position involves analysing trading figures, occupancy costs, and retail sales trends affecting asset performance. Conducting monthly rent reviews, collections, and lease administration are also key responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and management skills, outstanding communication and administration skills, as well as strong financial acumen and time management.

Furthermore, this role requires fostering excellent relationships with tenants, assisting retailers in boosting foot traffic, collaborating with Marketing teams to maximise tenant mix, and providing strategic input.

Ultimately, this position provides great exposure to every aspect of retail management with a keen focus on financials and retailer relations.
