**Electrical Drafter Role Overview**

The role of Electrical Drafter involves creating detailed technical drawings and documents for high-voltage infrastructure projects. As a key member of the primary engineering team, you will work closely with electrical engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure designs meet project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement design information from primary design engineers and design managers.
  • Produce high-quality design artifacts and technical documentation within agreed deadlines and standards.
  • Develop CAD drawings in AutoCAD, adhering to client requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the primary engineering team to support the design of high-voltage infrastructure projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in HV design for electrical substations is preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/MicroStation software is essential.
  • Strong understanding of electrical design principles, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Qualifications:
  • Tertiary studies in a relevant field are highly regarded; however, substantial hands-on experience and a proven track record in HV electrical design drafting will also be considered.
