We are seeking an experienced Quarry Manager to lead our team based in a state-of-the-art quarry operation.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have experience in quarry or mining operations in a supervisory or management role, with strong leadership and communication skills. They will also have knowledge of OHS legislation and compliance requirements, as well as the ability to manage budgets and optimize production costs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage quarry operations, ensuring safety and efficiency
  • Supervise and develop a team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Oversee material extraction, processing, and quality control to meet market demands
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and drive operational performance
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in quarry or mining operations in a supervisory or management role
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of OHS legislation and compliance requirements
  • Ability to manage budgets and optimize production costs
  • Certificate IV in Surface Extractions and working towards a Tier 2 practicing certificate
