WorkPac are seeking a seasoned quarry professional to oversee operations in Dubbo, NSW.

About the Role

This key position plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of our client's state-of-the-art quarry operation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quarry or mining operations and possess strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage quarry operations to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Supervise and develop a team to foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Oversee material extraction, processing, and quality control to meet market demands
  • Manage production costs and drive operational performance
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
Requirements
  • Experience in quarry or mining operations in a supervisory or management role
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of OHS legislation and compliance requirements
  • Ability to manage budgets and optimize production costs
  • Certificate IV in Surface Extractions and working towards a Tier 2 practicing certificate
