The Role

You will lead the translation of strategic objectives into a prioritised portfolio of initiatives. This includes establishing a fit-for-purpose Project Management Office (PMO), overseeing corporate strategy implementation, and uplifting organisational project capability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement and improve project management frameworks.
  • Oversee delivery of the corporate strategy and roadmap.
  • Maintain oversight of the strategic project portfolio, ensuring alignment to objectives.
  • Provide timely reporting and insights to executives on key initiatives, risks and opportunities.
  • Build organisational project delivery capability through training, tools and coaching.
  • Drive governance and assurance processes to manage risks and support effective delivery.
About You

You should be a dynamic leader with expertise in strategy execution, project governance, and PMO leadership. You must thrive in complex environments, balance competing priorities, and inspire trust and confidence across senior stakeholders.

A strong critical thinker with problem-solving skills, you can navigate challenges, make sound decisions, and provide high-quality advice to executives.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, public policy, project management or a related field are mandatory.
  • Experience in a strategy/PMO leadership role is essential.
  • Formal project management qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, MSP) are desirable.
