Job Title:
Belt Splicer

The role of Belt Splicer is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of conveyor belt systems. As a skilled professional, you will be responsible for handling various aspects of the system, including roller frames, skirting systems, and belt cleaner systems.

You will operate conveyor vulcanizing and belt handling equipment, install, replace, and refurbish rollers and frames, and work with different types of belts. Your knowledge of conveyor structures and skirting systems will be essential in maintaining high safety standards and efficient operations.

Valid Australian working rights are a must, along with confined spaces, working at heights, and gas test atmospheres tickets. A white card and belt splicing/polymer processing certificate or relevant experience are also required. Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and lab DAS is necessary.

Additional qualifications such as MSIC, high-risk work license (EWP, dogging, rigging), and valid driver's license are desirable but not mandatory.
