Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Conveyor Belt Supply Manager.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven individual with excellent communication and leadership skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all functions related to the offer and supply of belting to the WA market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential major accounts aligned to the WA Sales strategy.
  • Sales and Service: Responsible for transactional belt and service products sales functions from quotation to confirmation of goods receipt.
  • Order Tracking and Data Maintenance: Track all Enquiries and Orders, including maintenance of data to support reporting, follow-up, and surveillance of sales and delivery performance.
  • Quotation and Contract Management: Action all external Requests for Quotation, excluding Projects ensuring Quotations are aligned with the Contract and Nominated Technical Specifications.
  • Purchase Order Alignment: Ensure receipted Purchase Orders are aligned with the relevant Quotation, Tender, or Contract, including Validity, Terms, Lead Time, and Technical Description.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a self-motivated individual with the following skills and experience:

  • Mining Operations Knowledge: Previous knowledge of mining operations, underground and open cut.
  • Conveyor Systems Expertise: Intermediate conveyor systems and industry knowledge, including general conveyor system/belt maintenance, belt splicing, rubber lining, and lagging.
  • Quality Assurance Systems: Competent knowledge in Quality Assurance Systems and Australian Standards relevant to Fenner Conveyors products/service offering.
  • Industry Experience: 5 years' experience working in the mining, mining products/service, or conveyor products/service industries.
  • Procurement and Inventory Role: 2 years' experience working in a procurement or inventory role within the mining, products/service, or conveyor products/service industries.
