We are seeking a skilled Geospatial Analyst to join our team in Perth.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting our Mine Engineering & Stability team, working on geological modelling and resource estimation for various commodities.

This is an exciting opportunity to utilize your hard rock and operational experience, as well as your proficiency in mine planning and geology software packages, to drive business success.

Mining has a crucial role in the green transition, and we are driving sustainability and responsibility in every project.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Supporting geological modelling and resource estimation
  • Undertaking geological and geotechnical investigations
  • Interpreting geological and geotechnical data
  • Supporting site drilling activities
  • Undertaking geological and geotechnical logging
  • Conducting statistical and geostatistical analysis
  • Preparing proposals, tenders, memorandums, reports and technical deliverables

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Geology or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in mine planning and geology software packages
  • Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team
