We are seeking an experienced Geological Expert to join our team in a strategic growth role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and maintaining the diamond drill schedule, ensuring that all proposals are signed off.

This role requires a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the mining cycle from exploration through to mining and geological reconciliation from processing.

  • Accountable for mine geology activities, including monitoring and tracking ore mining activities.
  • Producing and maintaining the diamond drill schedule.
  • Contributing to delivering resource model updates upon drill program completion.
  • Geological reconciliation and providing advice to operations to assist minimising dilution.
  • Grade control and ore production standards in conjunction with the Perth Technical Team.
  • Assist in preparing and consolidating site geological budgets.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years' experience in mining (5+ years in gold mining), with demonstrated technical excellence and best practice methods in grade control, geological modelling and estimation.

Demonstrated ability to accurately forecast budgets and manage costs is essential.

Tertiary qualification in Geology and proven experience in Leapfrog are also required.

The ability to develop, coach, discipline and mentor employees in geological roles is necessary for this position.

A valid Australian driver's license and national police clearance are mandatory.
