**Who and what are we looking for?**

QA Build, part of GemLife, residential division are looking for an experienced Leading Hand to add to the team and work on this residential project.

An experienced Residential Carpentry Leading hand with good knowledge and vast experience in the fast-paced construction industry. This person will mainly be assisting with the back end of the builds and getting the town houses squared off for handovers. Light carpentry work is required most days but also the ability to be an allrounder leading hand.

A team leader who leads by example and keeps a collaborative and positive team working together to achieve the desired outcomes regarding the project timelines and quality throughout, whilst ensuring that all safety requirements are met.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- A trade in carpentry
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Residential construction experience
- General knowledge of the construction industry and environmental principles and relevant legislation/standards.
- Effective communication, time management and problem-solving skills
- Be reliable and trustworthy with the ability to work with little supervision and be able to work as part of a team
- Strong safety initiative
- Construction Induction white/blue card
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
- Be reliable and dedicated to the role
