Job Title: Nighttime Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Nighttime Support Worker to join our team. As a Nighttime Support Worker, you will provide essential support and care to individuals in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

The role involves assisting clients with personal care, light household duties, meal preparation, medication reminders, and transport to appointments, shopping, and social outings. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and develop personalized care plans to meet their unique requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, person-centered care to clients in their own homes.
  • Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for clients.
  • Remind clients to take their medication and assist with administration.
  • Accompany clients on outings and activities, such as shopping and social events.

Requirements:

  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
  • Valid Australian driver's license and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassion, empathy, and understanding of the needs of older adults.
