Job Title: Senior Mental Health Practitioner

Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate registered psychologist to join our team. As a senior mental health practitioner, you will have the opportunity to work closely with clients and contribute to delivering outstanding service to individuals with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of clients across various socio-cultural backgrounds, conducting therapeutic processes in a timely manner.
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical interviews and assessments, interpreting findings to collaboratively determine and achieve client goals that align with their individual plans.
  • Deliver person-centered interventions with a systemic focus, including delivery of therapeutic support and training to stakeholders.
  • Monitor, interpret, report, and address signs and symptoms of risk and acute distress that may arise during any therapeutic interventions.
  • Provide written reports to stakeholders outlining progress reviews and ongoing areas of need.
Requirements:
  • Current general registration with AHPRA.
  • Experience working with clients with disabilities.
  • Excellent time management, communication, and writing skills.
  • Relevant insurance, including Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, and Comprehensive Car Insurance.
  • Police clearance, Working with Children Check, and screening checks as required by law.
  • Active ABN.
