We are currently seeking a Leisure Program Manager to play a pivotal role in the development and delivery of engaging leisure programs for our residents.

This is an exceptional opportunity to join our team and contribute to enhancing the quality of life for our residents. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing individualized leisure programs that cater to residents' diverse needs and abilities.

Key responsibilities include:

Program Development:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents' interests and abilities to inform program design
  • Develop and implement innovative leisure programs that promote socialization, emotional well-being, and cognitive stimulation
  • Provide one-to-one activities, group activities, and special events that foster meaningful connections among residents

Resident Support:

  • Assist residents in achieving maximum independence and maintaining friendships through planned group and individual activities
  • Maintain accurate records of resident engagement and program effectiveness

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with the Leisure and Lifestyle Department to ensure seamless delivery of programs
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality engagement and purposeful living programs

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Diploma or Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle qualifications (or working towards this)
  • Prior experience in aged care (essential if not qualified)

Desirable:

  • Relevant skills and experience in program development and facilitation
