Acoustic Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Acoustic Specialist to conduct noise and vibration assessments for various projects, including infrastructure, power, renewable energy, buildings, water, and environmental noise.

This role involves applying technical expertise in acoustic consulting to diverse projects, designing noise and vibration mitigation treatments, and assisting in the preparation of tenders and proposals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough noise and vibration assessments for projects across multiple sectors.
  • Utilize advanced knowledge of acoustic principles to develop effective solutions for noise and vibration mitigation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement noise and vibration treatment plans.
  • Support the preparation and submission of tenders and proposals.
Required Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering, science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5-10 years' experience in acoustic/noise/vibration engineering, preferably in a consulting environment.
  • Proficiency in noise modelling software (SoundPLAN, CadnaA, EASE, etc).
  • In-depth understanding of relevant standards, guidelines, and measurement equipment.
  • Knowledge or interest in programming languages (R Studio, MATLAB, Python) and/or data visualization skills (Power BI, Tableau).
