About the Role
- Provide guidance on potential risks associated with foreign partnerships and collaborations.
- Risk assess and advise on agreements with international partners, particularly in critical or sensitive research areas.
- Lead educational materials and training on foreign interference and compliance responsibilities within Engineering.
- Engage with government agencies on evolving risks associated with foreign interference, critical technologies, and Defence Trade Controls.
- Review placements of new hires and visiting academics to ensure effective management of technology risks.
This role requires experience in reviewing prospective international partnerships, conducting due diligence on foreign partners, and identifying potential conflicts of interest.
