Permanency Support Program Caseworker Opportunity

Uniting offers casual positions to support the Permanency Support Program (PSP) casework team in Western Sydney. The successful applicant must be available to work both weekdays and weekends, with flexible hours.

As a PSP caseworker, you will assist the casework team with aspects of case management to achieve permanency outcomes for children entering Uniting's care. This role is a pathway to becoming a full-time caseworker.

The PSP aims to provide every child or young person with a loving home, whether that be with parents, family, extended family, guardianship, adoption, or quality long-term care.

About You

We are seeking a qualified Community Services worker who can transport children and young people across the Greater Sydney region. Experience working with children in the child protection sector is desirable.

Key Requirements:

  • Diploma in Community Services or enrolled and working towards a social service qualification
  • Ability to transport children and young people across the Greater Sydney region
