Job Opportunity

St Bede's Catholic College is seeking a highly motivated and experienced teacher to join our vibrant school community in the role of PDHPE Specialist.

The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching PDHPE to students in Years 7-12, as well as contributing to the development of curriculum and assessments. They will also be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues to establish productive partnerships and achieve educational outcomes.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging and inclusive PDHPE programs that cater to diverse learning styles and needs;
  • Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback to inform teaching practices;
  • Participate in professional learning and development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge;
  • Contribute to the school community through extracurricular activities and events.

  • Personal Qualities:
  • Ability to articulate a clear understanding of and a personal commitment to Catholic Education and to actively supporting the Catholic ethos and culture of the school;
  • Ability to apply appropriate knowledge in order to plan and prepare contemporary and compliant teaching programs and assessments;
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively utilise assessment and relevant school data to optimise organisational and educational outcomes;
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with school staff and members of the wider community in order to establish productive partnerships and achieve educational outcomes.
