The Maintenance Planner plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems at our plant in Darwin. This key position involves developing and maintaining detailed maintenance plans and schedules, utilizing expertise in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and fabrication trades.

Responsibilities include coordinating with various departments to ensure timely completion of maintenance activities, collaborating with contractors and stakeholders as needed. Proficiency in CMMS (SAP) and experience with software such as SAP, Prometheus, Oracle, Primavera P6, MS Excel, and MS Project are essential for managing work orders and maintenance tasks efficiently.

  • Develop and maintain detailed maintenance plans and schedules for electrical and instrumentation systems.">
  • Utilize Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to manage work orders and maintenance tasks.">
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.">
  • Use SAP, Prometheus, Oracle, Primavera P6, MS Excel, and MS Project to create and manage schedules and reports.">
  • Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety standards and regulations.">
  • Monitor and report on maintenance performance, identifying areas for improvement.">
  • Communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and execution of maintenance plans.">

Requirements:

This role requires an individual with 10+ years of planning/scheduling experience in a similar hydrocarbon facility or related industry who can present information clearly and effectively. A strong focus on safety, production, technical integrity is required in all planning and scheduling activities.
