Electrical Maintenance Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to plan and schedule maintenance activities, ensuring all tasks are executed efficiently and effectively.

This role involves developing and maintaining detailed maintenance plans and schedules for electrical systems, utilizing Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to manage work orders and maintenance tasks.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain detailed maintenance plans and schedules for electrical systems.
  • Utilize CMMS to manage work orders and maintenance tasks.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
  • Use software such as SAP, Prometheus, Oracle, Primavera P6, MS Excel, and MS Project to create and manage schedules and reports.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety standards and regulations.
  • Monitor and report on maintenance performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and execution of maintenance plans.

Requirements:
  • Proficient in the use of CMMS.
  • Experience with SAP, Prometheus, Oracle, Primavera P6, MS Excel, and MS Project.
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to present information clearly and effectively.
  • 10+ years of planning/scheduling experience in a similar industry.
