About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Asset Manager to join our team at Gough Recruitment AU. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for shaping and executing a comprehensive asset management strategy that aligns with our long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Asset Management Plans: Design and implement an asset management plan that addresses both immediate and future organizational needs.
  • Manage Asset Portfolio: Manage the maintenance and optimization of a diverse portfolio of assets, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Lead Capital Improvement Projects: Lead capital improvement projects, overseeing their planning and execution from conception to completion.
  • Cultivate Vendor Relationships: Cultivate relationships with vendors and contractors to secure high-quality services at competitive rates.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance and operations, to align asset management strategies with overarching business priorities.
  • Provide Insightful Reporting: Provide insightful reporting and analysis to senior management, highlighting asset performance, risks, and strategic opportunities.
About You

Key Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven Track Record: Proven track record in asset management across varied property types, with a focus on project management and financial oversight.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in Budget Management: Experience in managing budgets, capital projects, and vendor negotiations.
  • Tertiary Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in property, asset management, or a related field.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively to senior leadership.
  • Proactive Approach: A proactive approach to optimizing operational efficiency and driving cost-effective asset management practices.
