Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Australia Post is seeking a friendly and dedicated individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. We provide a range of services and products, and this is an exciting opportunity to become a key part of a fast-paced and customer-focused environment.

Position Details
- Casual role: 5 days per week, including some Saturdays.
- Office hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm; Saturday, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and process a range of identity service transactions, including Australian Passport interviews.
  • Handle high-value transactions accurately, including cash, cheques, credit cards, and EFTPOS.
  • Build strong relationships with customers by understanding and meeting their needs.
  • Promote Australia Post products and services through up-selling, cross-selling, merchandising, and other promotional activities.
  • Assist customers with mail lodgements and associated costs.

Requirements:

  • Friendliness, enthusiasm, and reliability are essential for this role.
  • Passion for delivering excellent customer service is necessary.
  • Physically fit, with the ability to lift up to 16 kg of mail regularly and stand throughout your shift.
  • Experience in cash handling or customer service is preferred.
