Clinical Nurse Manager

Alfred Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to lead our Acute Psychiatry inpatient units. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for operational management, resource allocation, and ensuring effective patient flows across the program.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting excellent professional practice and policy implementation.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to secure effective resource management and optimize patient care.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, safety, and satisfaction.
- Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and guidelines that promote best practice in mental health care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of quality metrics.
- Approved tertiary qualifications and registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA.
- Strong clinical nursing background and professional identity, with relevant acute clinical mental health nursing experience.
- Postgraduate qualification in management or working towards.
- Extensive clinical leadership experience in a teaching hospital environment.
- Australian working rights and full Covid-19 and Influenza vaccination.
