Exciting Opportunity for a Research and Innovation Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Research and Innovation Leader to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our R&D department, you will be responsible for driving innovation and excellence in personal care product development.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of researchers and scientists to develop innovative personal care products that meet market demands and consumer needs.
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation to discontinuation, ensuring continuous improvement and optimisation.
  • Ensure compliance with TGA and GMP standards in the R&D laboratory.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and enhancements in existing formulations and procedures.
  • Monitor global trends and changes within the personal care category to inform product development.

About You:

  • A qualified scientist with a minimum Diploma in personal care or relevant degree qualifications in science, preferably with a Masters or PhD.
  • Substantial experience in research and development of personal and/or sun care products, including familiarity with relevant technologies and equipment.
  • Experience in R&D at a contract manufacturing company is highly regarded.
  • Strong leadership skills, with demonstrated experience in a senior R&D leadership role.
  • Familiarity and knowledge of TGA regulations and standards related to personal care, sun care, and cosmetics.
