Procurement Specialist - Wagga Wagga, NSW

The Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture is a joint venture between CPB Contractors and Downer to undertake major upgrades and replacement of existing infrastructure and facilities to support Defence capability for the next 30 years.

The proposed project consists of a program of works across three Department of Defence establishments:

  • Albury Wodonga Military Area (including North, South & East Bandiana, Latchford Barracks, Wirlinga)
  • Blamey Barracks (Kapooka)
  • RAAF Base Wagga

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the Procurement Specialist will support the project delivery teams with the procurement and contract management of subcontract packages, cost forecasting, control and reporting and assist with the administration of the Head Contract requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Relevant experience in a contracting construction environment that engages in various sub-contractors
  • Experience with a large construction project as well as local project exposure
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise
  • Excellent attention to detail.
