The Project

The Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture is a 50/50 partnership between CPB Contractors and Downer, undertaking major upgrades and replacements of existing infrastructure and facilities to support Defence capability for the next 30 years.

The project includes works across three Department of Defence establishments:

  • Albury Wodonga Military Area (including North, South & East Bandiana, Latchford Barracks, Wirlinga)
  • Blamey Barracks (Kapooka)
  • RAAF Base Wagga

With a proposed capital investment of $1.7 billion, the project will include:

  • Construction of new messing and living-in accommodation
  • Construction of new training facilities
  • Refurbishment and upgrading of existing buildings
  • Remedial works and upgrades to infrastructure services

Your Opportunity

Reporting to a Senior Contract Administrator you will be part of the project commercial team and responsible for:

  • Management of subcontractor claims for progress and variations, through to final account
  • Ensuring contracts and conditions are suitable to project interests and contract conditions
  • Compilation of portions of head contract payment applications
  • Month-end financial reporting

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Accounting, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
  • Well-developed experience within a contract administration or quantity surveying capacity
  • Employment history that includes major construction projects
  • Construction project experience
