Job Description:

The Royal Flying Doctor Service South Eastern Section's aeromedical operations specialists are at the forefront of our vital 24-hour emergency and primary healthcare services. They work as part of a multi-disciplined team facilitating access to healthcare services, enabling people to live and work in regional, rural and remote Australia. No two days are the same for an aeromedical operations specialist, with a typical day consisting of challenges, highlights and inspirations across a variety of operational duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate aircraft safely and efficiently
  • Collaborate with medical teams to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local communities
Requirements:
  • Australian CPL with ATPL subjects
  • Multi-engine command instrument rating
  • Class 1 Medical
  • Total time - 2500 Hours
  • Total time in command - 2000 Hours
  • Instrument time - 100 Hours
  • Australian citizenship, residency or an approved work visa
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Single Pilot experience
  • Remote area flying experience
  • Preferred 4 instrument proficiency checks
  • Turbine experience is preferred but not required
