Operational Risk Management Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Operational Risk Management Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in consulting skills, leadership abilities, and experience in coaching and workshop facilitation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage your consulting skills to enhance business impact in client engagements and develop service offerings.
  • Apply your coaching and facilitation skills to support the capability development of operational and functional leaders.
  • Work with managers to prepare technical and commercial proposals.
  • Independently manage end-to-end projects, identifying areas of improvement in new processes and designing effective solutions within your area of expertise.
  • Undertake and lead analysis, including quantitative and qualitative evaluations of results, and prepare reports and presentations for client engagements and business development.
  • Engage clients across scoping, proposal preparation, project management, and implementation at their sites.
  • Lead clients through meetings, interviews, and workshops at various stages of the project lifecycle.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or Business, MBA, MS preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Mining & Metals industry in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing large, diverse transformation programs in a management consulting firm working with Mining & Metals clients.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, outcomes-focused, thriving in a fast-paced, rapidly growing consulting environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and team-working attitude to work effectively in fast-paced, multi-cultural, and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English.
